Northport property preserved (Property insurance)

Maine Coast Heritage Trust, a statewide land trust, transferred ownership of a 60-acre preserve in Northport to Coastal Mountains Land Trust in late February.
The Northeastern School Board has been asked to consider a tax break for a parcel of land on the corner of Willow Springs Lane and Board Road. If the property is approved for a designation known as LERTA, taxes would continue to be paid on the value of the land.
